You tile will dry in time but it may be a while and i can t say it want pop up later.

It cannot cure too fast.
The problem is the premixed adhesive its great for 4x4 or 6x6.
In some spots we had to put a thicker amount of cement to help level the floor.
We used the home depot pre mixed tile adhesive.
All armstrong resilient tile adhesives require the adhesive be dry to the touch before installation may begin.
If the vinyl is glued you have two options.
We put it down on a cement floor.
Dry to the touch means when you place your fingertips lightly on the adhesive ridges no adhesive transfers to them.
Tile adhesive is expected to hold the tile in place not just for years but for decades without fail.
I spread tile adhesive 2 hours ago and the recommendations say open time is 1 hour or until dry to the touch.
After a full week it still is not dry.
Take up peeling flooring to allow the surface of the subfloor to dry out.
Others seem to be dry.
You can scrape it off with a floor scraper or you can cover it with plastic.
Always follow all of the manufacturer s instructions when using a flooring adhesive.
Make sure the installation area is well ventilated.
Some tiles sound squishy and move a little.
It must be easy to work with and it must adequately fill in gaps between the tile and the substrate.
But for the bigger tiles it will not dry it isn t getting enough air to dry always use thin set mortar for floor tile of any size use premixed for backsplashes that have 4x4 and 6x6 tiles.

The adhesive used should be specifically noted as being appropriate for the material substrate and environment of the project at hand.
