According to flex a lite tech support they recommend cutting the fan off with a dremel tool and reinstalling the electric motor and fan blade as a kit. Trying to take shortcuts and attempting to pull the old fan off the old motor and you will risk breaking the plastic bracket system that the electric motor mounts to. That in reality isn t a bad thing because now i know the fans are working. My only complaint but not really a complaint was the flex a lite is considerably louder than the no name fan.
