Fixing a delta bathroom faucet leak.
Remove the faucet handle.
If the water is warm the leak is most likely on the hot side of.
Most faucets begin leaking around the cartridge inside the valve body when the seals get worn or the cartridge its.
Then remove the faucet handle body and set it aside.
Place your hand under the drip from the faucet.
Unscrew the delta faucet handle by hand and use an allen wrench to loosen the set screw that holds the handle body in place.
After removing the screw cover on the faucet handle use a screwdriver to lift off the actual handle.
Turn on the faucet to drain any water in the lines.

Determine which side is leaking.
If your faucet has a hex screw you ll need an 1 8 inch allen wrench to remove it.
If that doesn t stop the leak you ll need to replace the faucet s seats and springs.
