Fix Carpet Dents With Ice

If the dent is large or long use extra ice cubes as needed allow the ice cubes to melt.

Once the ice cubes have melted the carpet will fluff back up. Place an ice cube on the dent. The carpet doesn t have to be 100 percent dry slightly damp is fine. Use as many ice cubes as you need to fill the dent completely.

You can also fluff the area with a fork or toothbrush to allow the fibers to expand if necessary.

Place the steamer gently onto the dented carpet for approximately 10 seconds then. The ice cubes will slowly melt and after 12 hours blot up any wet spots with an absorbent towel or sponge. First place an ice cube in the carpet dent. Line up the ice cubes like little soldiers along the dents in your carpet leave them to melt over night and when you check back in the morning the dents should be completely gone.
